Thornton Park Cleanup
The first park cleanup day was held on March 29, 2008. We had a great turnout of parents, players, and community supporters of Little Miami youth softball and baseball. Thanks to all who participated. A significant dent was made to get the park back into shape but still more work remains. Another cleanup day will be held in the near future once the fields are re-established. A special thanks goes to Mr. Pat Dubbs, Director of Administrative Services of Little Miami Schools, for his continued support of our programs. The use of tractors were greatly appreciated.
The photos below represent only a small portion of those who helped out on Saturday. The community effort given on March 29, 2008 to get Thornton back into playing shape was great.
